Frequently Asked Questions

Got a question? Here's the answers to some of our most frequently asked questions.

What time is check in and check out?

Guests can check in from 2PM onwards. Check out is at 10AM. If these times don't work for you please contact us and we'll do our best to accommodate you.

Is a deposit required to secure a booking?

Yes, we require a 1 night deposit at the time of booking. The remaining balance is payable on arrival. For group bookings (4 or more cabins) we require a 50% deposit - group bookings have separate cancellation policies. We accept payment by credit card (Visa or Mastercard). If you need to cancel your booking, please see our cancellation policy for details on refunds.

Is onsite parking available?

Yes, we have free onsite parking available for our guests. You can park your car close to your spot, so you don't have to worry about carrying your luggage too far. We do recommend that you lock your car and keep your valuables out of sight.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept payment by credit card (Visa or Mastercard) or bank transfer. If you have any questions about payment options, please contact us.

Are the cabins heated?

Yes, all of our cabins have heaters to keep you warm and cozy. You can adjust the temperature to your liking to ensure a comfortable night's sleep. We recommend bringing warm clothing and comfortable shoes for outdoor activities during the cooler months.

Is there mobile phone coverage?

Yes, there is mobile phone coverage. If you need to stay connected, we offer free Wi-Fi in all of our cabins.

What is the cancellation policy?

We understand that plans can change, which is why we have a flexible cancellation policy. Guests can cancel free of charge up until 7 days prior to arrival. Cancellation within 7 days of arrival results in the one night deposit being non-refundable. If you have any questions about our cancellation policy, please contact us.

Are there any discounts for NZMCA members?

Yes! We offer 20% off our powered and unpowered sites. The campsaver discount cannot be redeemed for roofed accommodation and is excluded during long weekends, public holidays, and the high season.

Is there any long-term accommodation?

We don’t offer any long term accommodation, but we do allow a max stay of 21 days. Full payment is required and it is non-refundable if you leave early for any reason.

Can I bring my dog?

If you are on a powered or unpowered site, your dog is welcome in our low season and over the high season if prior arrangements have been made. Fluffy companions are not allowed in or around our cabins.

Is it possible to check in after hours?

Absolutely, on the day of your check in please contact our friendly reception team during our opening hours and we can organise a late check in for you to ensure a smooth process upon arrival.
